Topside utilizes many local vendors for its services. Repairs to the building are frequently made by LOCAL CONTRACTORS. Medications and medical supplies are purchased through the LOCAL PHARMACY. The HOSPITAL AND MEDICAL STAFF serve residents who live at the manor.
Employees who work at Topside Manor have children who are enrolled in the local school system. There are currently 14 students enrolled in local schools with an additional 10 children expected in the next five years.
About two-thirds of income to Topside comes from outside Sherman County, Medicare and Medicaid payments. Nearly all of these incomes are in turn “re-spent” in Sherman County.

A strong health care system can help attract and maintain business and industry growth, attract and retain retirees, and also create jobs in the local area.
